AgentMail is an email inbox API built for AI agents rather than for people — the framing the team uses is that it is not AI for your email, it is email for your AI. A single API call creates a real, fully functional inbox in milliseconds with no domain verification step and no waiting period, and from there everything an agent needs is available programmatically: sending, threads and replies, attachments, realtime webhook events, custom domains, semantic search across message history, and structured data extraction. Typed SDKs ship for Python and TypeScript alongside a REST API, a CLI, and an MCP server, so an agent can be given inbox access as a tool without custom glue. The use cases the product is built around are the ones that block agents in practice: a browser agent signing up for a service needs somewhere to receive and extract a one-time 2FA code; a scheduling assistant needs its own address to negotiate meetings and send summaries; a document-processing agent needs invoices and receipts to land somewhere parseable; a support agent needs to ingest inbound mail and route it. The company reports over 100 million emails delivered, redundant multi-region infrastructure, and customers provisioning tens of thousands of inboxes at once. It is Y Combinator backed and raised a $6M seed.
