1DevTool is a desktop workspace built for the specific mess that appears once you run more than one AI coding CLI at once: several Claude Code, Codex or Antigravity sessions across several repositories, each needing its own terminal, browser tab, database client and HTTP client, spread across twenty windows. It puts all of that in one workspace — editor, browser, HTTP client, database client and multiple terminals per project — so the agent can see the whole development context without anyone copy-pasting console errors, network calls or SQL results between applications. It explicitly does not host models or charge for AI usage: you bring your own CLI and your own keys or subscriptions, and 1DevTool runs Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Aider, Cline, Amp, OpenCode or any shell command side by side, with @mention orchestration between agents. The three problems it names are precise — the terminal cannot host a browser or a database, single-line CLI input was never designed for AI prompts (no rich text, drag and drop, image preview or screenshots), and parallel agents across projects become unmanageable because you cannot tell which are running, stuck or done. It runs on macOS, Windows and Linux with no signup, and the free tier is a genuinely usable workspace rather than a demo: one project, four terminals, one browser tab, unlimited prompts and five AI diffs a day. Published figures are 21,838 downloads and 126 releases.
