How to Cancel Speechify Premium (2026)

Sign in on the web, not in the mobile app
The card-billed subscription can only be cancelled from the website account settings. The iOS and Android apps do not expose it, which is the most common reason people believe they have cancelled when they have not.

A PayPal-billed subscription is a recurring authorisation held by PayPal. Speechify links out to PayPal's own cancellation article for this exact reason — nothing done in the Speechify account will stop it.

Find Speechify in the merchant list and cancel the agreement. If it is not listed, the subscription was not bought through PayPal — go back to app.speechify.com/subscription and re-check the channel.
Apple App Store (iPhone / iPad)

Tap your name at the top of Settings, then Subscriptions. Cancelling inside the app itself does nothing to an App Store subscription — this is the single most common reason people keep getting charged after they thought they had cancelled.

Can You Get a Refund?
Speechify's published position is that cancelling stops the next and all future charges but does not reverse previous ones, so an annual renewal noticed after the fact is not automatically refunded — the support route is support@speechify.com.
