Its answer is the post-purchase survey — asking the customer directly at checkout — with every response tied to a real Shopify order, so the platform reports revenue, average order value and repeat rate by channel rather than click counts, and those figures can be compared against what Meta, Google and GA4 claim. Surveys also run as exit-intent and on-site formats, and can be embedded directly onto any page.
