VolRadar is a daily options-analytics service aimed narrowly at premium sellers — traders running covered calls, cash-secured puts, the wheel and credit spreads — rather than at directional traders. Its organising idea is a Weather Score that answers one question before anything else: are today's conditions worth selling premium into, or is it a day to wait. Beneath that sit IV-rank screeners across 500+ S&P 500 names, a covered-call screener, wheel and earnings screeners, an ETF screener, safe-to-sell lists and weekly idea sets, with strategy signals ranked and strikes computed rather than merely suggested. Earnings gates block setups where a print falls inside the holding window, which is the mechanical mistake that erases a quarter of premium income. The data comes from ORATS, an institutional options-data provider, and the methodology, data sources and even the research that did not work are published openly alongside an editorial policy and a glossary — an unusually legible posture for the category. A large free tier exists deliberately: the daily Weather Score, top five ranked candidates, a market brief and calculators, with strike-level detail, the full scanner and the daily model playbook behind the paid tiers.
