The editor is block-based with custom blocks and a structured builder that keeps layout and formatting consistent, which is the specific failure mode it targets: docs that drift into inconsistent heading levels and broken internal links because every contributor formats differently. Search is built in with no configuration, and the product ships full SEO handling on paid plans, custom domains, advanced analytics, and import and export so a team is not locked in — the import path is aimed at people migrating from an existing help centre, and export means the content can leave again. The free Starter tier covers a single project and workspace with the full editor and basic SEO but carries Voidocs branding; Pro removes the branding and unlocks multiple projects. The framing throughout is anti-overbuilding: most early teams treat documentation as an engineering project and lose a week of product development to it, and Voidocs's argument is that structure, branding and publishing are the only three things that actually matter at that stage.
