Vibedock is a macOS menu-bar app that turns MCP servers into a per-project toggle instead of a config file edit. The problem it targets is specific and familiar to anyone running more than a handful of servers against Claude Code: every connected MCP server's tool definitions occupy space in the context window on every single message, whether or not that server is relevant to what you are working on, and the only way to drop one is to open a JSON config, remove the entry and restart the session. Vibedock sits in the menu bar, scans for installed servers automatically, and lets you switch any of them on or off per project with a click. It handles the restart itself — an auto kill-and-relaunch setting restarts Claude sessions after a toggle so the change actually takes effect without manual intervention. It also tracks what the toggling saves, showing a running count of tokens avoided and an estimated cost figure across sessions, using an average of roughly 700 tokens per message across real MCP servers. Live scanning keeps the server list current as new ones are installed. It is sold as a one-time licence rather than a subscription, with a three-day free trial and licences sized by the number of Macs.
