Typani does one job: it answers your Google reviews. It connects to your Google Business Profile, watches for new reviews on its own, and when one lands it drafts a reply in your voice in roughly six seconds — referencing the specific dish, visit or complaint rather than producing another round of 'we appreciate your valuable feedback'. You approve from your phone with one tap, or on the Pro tier you set rules such as auto-posting anything at four or five stars and the replies go up without you. It reads the star rating and answers a one-star differently from a five-star: owning the concern and offering to make it right without admitting fault you do not owe. The Google connection is optional — you can paste a review from Yelp or anywhere else and copy the generated reply back by hand — which makes it usable before you have committed to the integration. The positioning against the incumbents is explicit and priced accordingly: Podium and Birdeye run roughly $300–500 a month as full suites with SMS, webchat and payments attached, and Typani's argument is that most local businesses only ever wanted the review-reply piece. There are no trials on the paid plans by design; the free tier is the trial and has no time limit.
