TurboDoc extracts structured data from invoices, receipts and bank statements and puts the results in a centralised workspace where the originals stay downloadable for accounting or audit. It accepts PDF, JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and TIFF, and the differentiating feature is the intake path: connect Gmail or Outlook and invoices are captured from the mailbox automatically as they arrive, rather than being uploaded by hand — the plan tiers are sized partly by how many mail accounts you can connect for collection, which tells you the vendor expects that to be the primary workflow. Extracted fields include company, total amount, invoice number, invoice date, due date and payment details down to account and routing numbers, and everything is exportable to XLS or CSV for a chosen period so it can be handed to accounting software or a bookkeeper. A view-and-edit mode opens a document directly from the dashboard row so extracted fields can be reviewed against the original image and corrected in place, which is the step most extraction tools handle badly and the one that decides whether a human ends up re-keying anyway. The vendor states AES-256 encryption with data stored on servers in the USA and no storage or sharing without consent. There is a live demo on the homepage that processes an uploaded invoice without an account, subject to a rate limit, so accuracy can be judged before signing up. Integrations with accounting software are listed as coming soon with a waitlist, which is the main gap: today the handoff is a CSV or XLS export rather than a direct sync.
