About The Daily FM

The Daily FM turns the sources you already follow into short daily summary podcasts. It works three ways. You can subscribe to any podcast in its library via RSS with no account at all. You can combine several of those podcasts into one custom feed so everything arrives in a single place. Or you can create a custom summary pod from your own sources: any article, blog, or newsletter link, the latest posts from specific X handles, top Hacker News stories and their comment threads, fresh-episode recaps of any podcast, and weekly bill activity from state legislatures. That last source is unusual and points at the product's real range — it is not only a tech-news reader. The featured AI Daily pod pulls from Anthropic, OpenAI, and DeepMind blogs plus a long list of X accounts including Simon Willison, Karpathy, and others, and the published episodes read as substantive daily briefings rather than headline lists — the July 27 episode covers OpenAI's workplace-AI posts, an investigation into LLM token-relay fraud, Microsoft research on training agents from replayed teacher trajectories, and the indie-SaaS-versus-AI debate, with named sources throughout. Output is standard RSS, so it plays in Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts, YouTube Music, or anything else. It also exposes MCP, so you can connect Claude Code or any MCP client and manage your pods by conversation instead of through the web UI.
