Tack+
Notch app for Mac: music, messages, clipboard, files, dictation and a local AI assistant at the edge of the screen
About Tack+
Tack+ is a notch app for Mac. A thin line sits at the bottom or top edge of the screen, around the MacBook notch; push the cursor against it (or press Option-Space) and a panel opens with Spotify or Apple Music, Messages or WhatsApp, today's calendar, Mail, clipboard history, a file shelf, nine widgets, hold-to-talk dictation and call transcription done on the Mac by macOS speech recognition. Its optional local AI assistant (Qwen3.5 4B, Apple silicon) runs on the Mac and asks before it moves, renames or deletes anything. macOS 14 or later. I'm the developer.
