Sherloq is an AI SQL assistant that runs inside the editor an analyst already uses and, critically, is grounded in that organisation's own query history rather than in generic training data. The pitch is aimed squarely at the failure mode of general-purpose code assistants on SQL: they produce syntactically valid queries against tables and join keys they have never seen. Sherloq builds an AI-ready SQL repository out of real queries the team has written, then uses it to generate context-aware SQL, fix syntax, extract logic and filters, modify existing queries, write correct joins, and find the right tables and fields. Saved queries become a shared, searchable asset instead of scattering across Slack threads and local files. A set of free tools sits outside the paid product as an acquisition surface — an AI SQL syntax validator, an SQL organizer, an ERD visual tool, a formatter, an academy and a greeting generator — and the vendor publishes case studies with AppsFlyer and Weski. A privacy mode can be enforced organisation-wide on the enterprise tier, which matters when the corpus being indexed is production query text.
