RepoClip turns a GitHub repository into a narrated demo video. You paste a public repo URL — no GitHub account needed to sign up — and it analyses the code structure and features, writes a script, generates visuals, and renders a video with voiceover, typically inside five minutes. Private repositories work once you connect a GitHub account. The pipeline is unusually transparent about which models do what: Gemini 2.5 Flash for code analysis, Nano Banana 2 for still scene backgrounds, LTX-2.3 or Kling 3.0 Pro for cinematic video clips depending on tier, and OpenAI's standard text-to-speech presets for narration. On narration the vendor draws an explicit line — there is no voice cloning and no way to upload a custom voice model, only a fixed set of preset synthetic voices. Custom instructions let you steer narration tone, visual style, voice, and content focus. Supported languages include TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Go, Rust, Java, Kotlin, and Swift, and in practice any repo with readable source files. For teams that want this on every release there is a public API and an official GitHub Action (`repoclip/generate-video`) that can run from CI/CD. The vendor states code is used only during generation and never stored permanently. Typical use is launch announcements, investor demos, social clips, and attracting open-source contributors.
