Pagerly runs on-call rotations, paging and incident response inside Slack, and its commercial angle is the billing unit: it charges per team rather than per responder. That sounds small but it changes behaviour — under per-seat paging pricing, teams keep people out of the rotation to hold the invoice down, which concentrates load on whoever is already cheapest to page. Pagerly's pitch is that you can put everyone who actually knows the system into the rota without watching the bill grow. Functionally it covers the expected ground: round-robin rotations and schedules built inside the product, Slack user group sync so @oncall always resolves to the right person, schedule overrides, reminders before a rotation changes, and paging by email, Slack, SMS, phone call and mobile app. Incident response gets dedicated channels, commanders and timelines, and there is an AI SRE agent for debugging, documenting and communicating during an incident. It also runs the communication side — public status pages, uptime monitoring on your own endpoints and dependency monitoring across more than 3,000 third-party services — plus task management and workflows inside Slack. The company is targeting the Opsgenie sunset in April 2027 directly, offering one-click import of schedules, escalation policies and integrations.
