Meeting BaaS is meeting-bot infrastructure sold as an API, aimed at developers who need programmatic access to what happens inside Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls without building and maintaining a bot fleet themselves. You post a meeting URL and a bot name, the service joins the call, and you get back raw audio and video, transcripts, speaker diarization and meeting metadata through webhooks or REST. The integration surface is deliberately wide: an official SDK for Node.js with framework-specific guidance for Next.js, Express, Hono, Nuxt and Remix, plus Python, Ruby, PHP, Go, Rust, Java and .NET, or plain HTTP if you would rather not take a dependency. Calendar integrations let bots join scheduled meetings automatically rather than requiring a call per meeting. The transcription layer is bring-your-own-key on paid tiers, so you can point it at whichever provider you have already negotiated rather than paying a markup, and token packs cover usage beyond the plan allowance. The escape hatch that matters for teams with data-residency constraints is that the same stack can be self-hosted when the hosted version stops being the right answer, and multi-zonal residency is on the roadmap for the top tier.
