Intakelink collapses the three separate steps a law firm normally puts between a prospect and a signed matter — the intake form, the retainer signature and the deposit — into a single client-facing link. E-signatures are powered by DocuSeal, payments run through Stripe Connect, and the intake form itself is built in a drag-and-drop editor, so a prospect opens one URL and completes all three in sequence without downloading anything or creating an account. The product is aimed squarely at small and mid-size US firms in personal injury, family law, criminal defence and immigration, and the vendor argues the case with published research rather than assertion: the American Bar Association's 2023 Legal Technology Survey putting intake among the top operational bottlenecks, the Clio 2023 Legal Trends Report finding the average firm loses roughly 10% of potential clients during intake, and Thomson Reuters research showing only 38% of small firms had adopted digital intake tools as of 2024. Intakelink reports reducing average intake time from about 2.5 hours to under ten minutes and states that more than 1,000 intakes have been completed on the platform since launch. Signatures are ESIGN Act and UETA compliant and the vendor states they are binding in all fifty states. Each firm gets a branded subdomain with its own logo and colours, with a custom domain available on the top tier.
