Evalo runs one AI evaluation engine from both sides of the hiring table. For recruiters and engineering managers, it takes a candidate's public GitHub repository URL — no candidate setup, no take-home to administer — and returns a structured report: scores for code quality, architecture and test coverage, a skill-level verdict, named strengths and gaps, and interview questions tailored to what the code actually shows. That inverts the usual screening order, putting evidence before the interview rather than after it. For job seekers, the same engine compares a CV against a pasted job description, produces a match score and an ATS keyword-match percentage, flags which required skills are present and which are missing, and generates a tailored CV ready to submit in about two minutes. Running both perspectives on one engine is the interesting part commercially, because the scoring a recruiter trusts is the same scoring a candidate is optimising against. Language and framework coverage is unrestricted. A free tier exists on both sides with monthly assessment and evaluation caps, and the product is built in Aachen, Germany.
