Drizzlelemons

About Drizzlelemons

Drizzlelemons takes a recipe URL and returns just the recipe: ingredients and steps, with the ads, popups, autoplay video and the thousand-word story about the author's grandmother stripped out. That much is a solved problem with several free competitors, and the product knows it — the comparison table on the homepage names JustTheRecipe, Paprika and Copy Me That directly. What it adds past extraction is the part that makes it a kitchen tool rather than a reader: serving scaling before you shop, metric-to-US unit conversion, AI diet swaps for vegan or gluten-free versions, an editable copy you can save as your own version, a step-by-step Cook Mode with timers and a keep-awake toggle so the screen does not sleep mid-recipe, a smart shopping list, and a saved collection synced across devices. A Chrome extension saves recipes as you browse. The billing model is unusual for the category and is the reason it earns a listing: instead of a subscription that charges in months you did not cook, it sells lemons — one lemon converts one recipe — as one-time top-ups that never expire, alongside a single lifetime unlock. One recipe can be converted with no account at all. The site reports cooks in more than 80 countries and 597 signups in the preceding 60 days.
