Dim0 is an open-source, real-time collaborative AI canvas — MIT licensed, currently v0.3 — that inverts the usual arrangement of bolting a chat panel onto a document. Here the infinite canvas is the interface and the agent is a participant on it. A board holds sticky notes, code, math, charts, sketches, uploaded documents, live widgets and small interactive mini-apps, with nested boards to keep large projects structured. The agent reads the board before it acts: it starts from what is already on your workspace rather than an empty chat thread, searches and synthesises across sources in parallel, runs code in sandboxed nodes, and writes results back as nodes positioned next to the notes that prompted them, editable and connectable like anything else. Mapify turns a selection of notes into a mind map, schema or diagram in one gesture. Mini-apps are described conversationally — a calculator, a chart, a visualiser, a quiz — and appear as real React components on the board that can be opened, edited and exported, wired to the surrounding notes rather than isolated. Eight AI models are selectable. The whole thing is collaborative in real time, so a team works on one board simultaneously, and the rendering engine, canvas-harness, is open source too.
