Blogizi is a hosted blog aimed squarely at indie developers who already write in markdown and do not want a CMS in the loop. The workflow is deliberately small: write a .md file with frontmatter in Obsidian, VS Code, or whatever editor is already open; run `blogiz publish ./your-post.md` from the terminal; the CLI ships the file to Blogizi and the post goes live on your own domain. What it adds on top of that is the technical SEO scaffolding most solo builders skip — canonical tags, Open Graph metadata, BlogPosting JSON-LD schema, an auto-regenerated sitemap, and OG image generation — all applied by default, with per-post overrides when you need them. Blogs are served from Next.js on Vercel's edge network, which is how the vendor justifies its Core Web Vitals claims. The routing flexibility is the part worth noting for anyone chasing domain authority: Blogizi can publish at a subfolder (example.com/blog), a subdomain (blog.example.com), or a fully custom domain, and the subfolder option is the one that passes link equity back to your root domain. Custom design controls cover light and dark themes, accent color, fonts, and logo, with no Blogizi branding on the public site. Tags, related posts, on-site search, and blog analytics round it out. It is built and run by a single founder.
