Each workspace carries a purpose-built agent trained for its domain — Mobile App for native iOS and Android, Web App for sites and web experiences, Slides for pitch decks and presentations, Marketing for campaigns and brand voice, Assets for brand visuals and images, Video for scripts and storyboards, Desktop App for cross-platform builds, and Research for market and competitor intelligence. The design argument is stated plainly on the site: a specialist agent per domain beats a generic model trying to do everything, and Avid carries context across workspaces so the agent working on your pitch deck knows what the agent building your app produced. The shipped path today is mobile: you describe an app, Avid generates the design, and on paid tiers it builds the app from that design and gives you the Flutter source code to download, with private projects and ownership of what you build. Several of the eight workspaces are still marked Soon on the vendor's own site — Mobile App, Web App, Marketing, Video and Desktop App carry that label, with Slides, Assets and Research shown as live — so the eight-workspace framing describes the roadmap more than the current product. Credits are the metering unit and the free tier is real: 5 credits daily up to 15 per month, enough to generate designs, though not to build from them.
