AIRankCite tracks whether AI assistants recommend a product and, more usefully, works backwards to the community threads that shape those recommendations. The premise is that when someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity for the best tool in a category, the answer is assembled substantially from Reddit, Hacker News and niche forum discussions — so a product absent from those threads is structurally invisible to AI recommendation regardless of how its own site ranks. Entering a product URL produces a category, audience and competitor profile, then a scan across six AI engines returning an AI Citation Score and the threads behind the answers, typically in under two minutes. Every discovered thread is scored on five dimensions — relevance, intent, citation potential, engagement and actionability — and ranked, so effort goes to the threads that actually move an answer. Competitor citation tracking shows where rivals are named and where the gaps are, and keyword monitoring raises an alert when a new high-value thread appears. The part that distinguishes it from a pure measurement tool is the context-aware seeding kit: each thread comes with a participation playbook including an opening hook, talking points and the platform-specific norms of that subreddit or forum, with the vendor framing participation as ethical rather than astroturfing.
