About ADAGuard
ADAGuard is a web accessibility scanner that crawls a site against WCAG 2.2 and then does the part most scanners skip: it pre-fills the VPAT and ACR paperwork that procurement teams actually ask for, populating each criterion from the scan result and explicitly flagging the ones that still require a human tester. The vendor is unusually honest about the ceiling, publishing roughly 78% automated WCAG coverage rather than implying a clean scan equals compliance. Scans can reach behind a login using stored authentication sessions, which is what separates it from the free one-page checkers, and each run is configurable by scan mode, page cap, minimum score, viewport and excluded paths. A public REST API at api.adaguard.io/v1 exposes scan creation, status polling, full results with per-criterion remediation guidance, and report download in JSON, HTML, CSV or PDF, with an OpenAPI spec, Swagger UI and a plain-text documentation build published specifically so AI coding tools can read it. A GitHub App scans every pull request free of charge, and there are free standalone tools for single-URL scanning, colour-contrast checking and WCAG 2.2 verification, plus platform-specific checkers for Shopify, WordPress, React, SaaS and ecommerce sites. API access is gated to the Professional tier and above.
