How to Cancel ChatGPT Plus (2026)
Cancel Plus from the web billing portal, or from Apple Settings if you subscribed on an iPhone — the two are separate and cancelling one does not stop the other.

Click your name or avatar in the bottom-left of the sidebar, then Settings.

This hands you off to a Stripe-hosted billing portal in a new tab. That is expected — the URL will be on stripe.com and it is legitimate.

Stripe will show the exact date access ends. You keep GPT-5-class models, file uploads, and your custom GPTs until then.
Apple App Store (iPhone / iPad)

Open iPhone Settings, not the app
Tap your name at the top of Settings, then Subscriptions. Cancelling inside the app itself does nothing to an App Store subscription — this is the single most common reason people keep getting charged after they thought they had cancelled.
