Termic is a desktop app for running several CLI coding agents in parallel, each in its own git worktree, and its central design decision is that it spawns the real vendor binaries in PTYs rather than reimplementing them behind an SDK. Claude, Codex, Antigravity, Copilot, Grok and OpenCode ship built in, and adding another — aider, `ollama run`, anything that runs in a PTY — takes about thirty seconds of configuration. The consequence of that choice is stated plainly on the homepage: because Termic runs the interactive CLI you already have and inherits its auth, it stays on the regular subscription usage limits rather than the SDK credit path that applies to `claude -p`, the GitHub Actions integration and third-party apps authenticating through the SDK. There is no per-token markup, no proxy, and no custom agent loop between you and the vendor's own harness. The second consequence is that features land the day the vendor ships them — a new model or slash command in the upstream CLI is available immediately instead of waiting for a wrapper to catch up. Worktree isolation means each task runs against its own checkout, so parallel agents never fight over a working tree, and the main checkout stays clean. The whole thing is free and open source under AGPL-3.0, with the licence chosen explicitly to stop a derivative going open-core proprietary. It installs via Homebrew cask, a direct .dmg, or a Linux AppImage.
